Radio Chișinău

Radio Chișinău is considered the successor of Radio Basarabia, inaugurated in Chișinău on October 8, 1939, as the first regional studio of the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Society. Radio Chișinău, as part of Radio România group of radio stations managed by the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Society, owned by the Romanian state, began broadcasting again in Moldova on December 1, 2011. It is a general radio station with regional coverage that broadcasts news, informative and analytical programs, as well as music. Part of the content broadcast by Radio Chișinău is taken from Romania's public state radio.
