Alexandr Corinenco is a political scientist and professor of history who founded and leads two public associations: "Asociaţia Tinerilor Experţi din Moldova" (since 2013) and "Tinerii Tehnocrați" (since 2018). Since 2007, he has participated as a young leader in conferences, expert schools, and educational exchanges across Moldova, Armenia, Russia, France, Ukraine, Poland, and Germany.

While Corinenco authors analytical articles about Moldova's electoral and political processes, his media presence is predominantly in Russian-language outlets. He frequently appears as a commentator on Sputnik Moldova, KP.MD, and various Kremlin-affiliated Telegram channels. His television appearances include Kremlin-affiliated stations (GRT, Sputnik Moldova) and occasionally independent outlets like TV8. Though quoted by Shor-affiliated media, he has not appeared on their broadcasts.

Since 2020, Corinenco has run a Telegram channel under his name (Александр Кориненко), where he consistently advances Kremlin narratives. He regularly criticizes the PAS government, President Maia Sandu, and Moldova's European integration while promoting Russian interests. Despite his association with Shor, he also criticizes PSRM's actions and decisions.

In his role as a political analyst, Corinenco frequently comments for Russian and pro-Russian publications. In April 2024, he told "Izvestia" that Moldova had no prospect of EU integration, claiming the EU merely gives Chișinău hope of accession to "annoy" Russia. In June 2024, he attended the Russian Federation Embassy's National Day celebrations in Chișinău, sharing photos with Russian Ambassador Oleg Vasnețov on social media.

Corinenco is involved with the "Eurasia" organization's programs, organizing and accompanying Moldovan children to the "Orlionok" camp in Tuapse, Krasnodar. While he told Ziarul de Gardă that his involvement is voluntary and unpaid, concerns exist about the camp's activities. The facility has been linked to Russian propaganda indoctrination, notably through visits by pro-Russian blogger Mika Badalyan, a board member of "Eurasia" who was denied entry to Moldova in 2024. A Yale University School of Public Health report identified this camp as a site where Ukrainian children were forcibly detained in a "reeducation and adoption" program.

He has been photographed with Elena Pahomova, Ernest Vardanean, and Igor Smirnov at European institutions, including the European Parliament and OSCE headquarters.
