Radio Hit LLC, which holds the license for Hit FM radio station, was founded in 1998 by Dan Lozovan, initially under the name Dixi Media Group Creative and Production Studio LLC. Dan Lozovan has owned and managed several businesses in media and audiovisual advertising over the years. In 2012, there were accusations that Dan Lozovan controlled six radio and TV stations, while the law stipulated that an investor could be a majority shareholder, directly or indirectly, in no more than two broadcasters of different types. The Apollo Association complained to the Audiovisual Council at the time that Dan Lozovan controlled Super TV, Mega TV, TV Dixi, Hit FM, Radio Stil, and Radio Alla stations. In 2016, the press reported that two of the TV stations controlled by Dan Lozovan were sold to the media holding then owned by Moldovan oligarch Vladimir Plahotniuc.

Currently, Radio Hit LLC is owned by Pavel Lozovan, the founder's son Dan Lozovan, the company's administrator. The Lozovan family owns two more radio stations. Dan Lozovan is the owner and administrator of Radio Roks, and his son Andrei Lozovan is the owner of Radio Relax.
